Foliage

I was trying to take Jesse's picture but he was going too fast.

This kid.

Jesse finally slowed down but he wanted me to get a shot of him doing a trick.

Trick.

THIS KID.

We were working on no hands for a few minutes.

We got it.

The guys built a new box.

I broke my board yesterday so Jake gave me his old one. Couldn't ask for a better friend.

Dylan, consider yourself Happy Lost.

Old Man

We met up at El Maguey for Andy's birthday. Joey showed up first and asked for a table for ten, you know to play it safe. He called me and told me to hurry up because he was embarrassed to be the only one there waiting at a huge table for ten.

Chris's birthday was a few days earlier.

Birthday beard.

Chris and some handsome devil.

Andy and Adam.

Happy Birthday, Andy. You finally made it onto El Maguey's wall of embarrassing birthday polaroids.

Before We Finish School

Adam is coming into his own lately.

The last hot day of the year.

Nicola has the best mom.

Jared and Jake. I can only imagine how a conversation between the two nicest guys ever would go.

Walker.

Brian - Noseblunt

Skate sessions now revolve around trips to Pizza Street.

Two best friends, John and Derek.

Mother, dinner, the back deck.

Jesse biting my style.

Nick fell asleep behind the wheel at a red light once.

Brothers.

Sam had to elevate to gypsy status before making onto The Happy Loss.

Captain Underpants.

The Wind and No Conclusion

In doing this blog, I have accumulated some 500 photos, some of which are not meant to be used in the journalistic format that I've come accustomed to. I'll start posting some of these every so often.

Nick and I used to skate up and down Manchester Road all summer long.

This is the spirit of Nick. He's always doing something joyful on his skateboard.

Joey.

I'm not much of a landscape photographer (I'm not much of a photographer). This is the Meremac River.

One of the last nights I stayed at my old house. This is Cara, one of my closest friends and our unofficial third roommate.

Salt Lake Cory

I picked up Cory to take him to the airport for Salt Lake City.

He's going to the finals for a Gatorade contest. We are all very proud.

Hugs.

Hugs, etc.

This is where sad music would fade in during the movie. Cory called last night and told me he is having a blast though.

Jake Pratte

Jake was making such great faces the other night. I couldn't resist.

"Hold the phone!"

"We're done for."

"Aw! What a cute kitty."

"No, I'm #1."

"So now I'm driving the bus."

"Woah."

"Joe IS taking pictures of me. Luckily I have this cup to hide behind."
